You know, Vancouver city recently started blocking all the cars on Granville st. in downtown during weekends. So now it is pretty much pedestrian’s paradise.
Ever since we had Olympic 2010 winter game and Stanley cup, we frequently get to walk on Granville st. without worrying about being hit by a car, and seem like Vancouver peops learned how to party on the street.
Despite the fact of the mess of Stanleyc up, I personally think it’s one of cool actions the city took and has been pretty successful to let people have fun.
I’m just throwing that out there.
